Even with early co-signs from UK heavyweights like Ghetts, Dave, Wretch 32, and Avelino, Proph isn't moving like someone chasing validation. Emerging under a shortened version of the name given to him by his grandfather, Proph's earliest musical memories date back to his preteen years, when he crafted lyrics into vivid stories that sparked his curiosity. Growing up in Thornton Heath, Proph taught himself to look beyond his surroundings, using writing as a way to stretch his imagination and ambition.
Proph first made waves in 2019 with a standout freestyle on BlackBox, a moment that sparked his determination to push his artistry to new heights. Since then, his discography has become a genre-bending force, resisting the traditional confines of rap. GRISHA is a Belgium-born artist with Korean roots, active since 2021. His music is grounded in hip-hop, with a sound that moves between rap, melody, and atmospheric, genre-blending production.
He began releasing independently in 2021 and gained early attention with singles such as “Tarantino” and “Zone”, which highlighted his cinematic approach and willingness to experiment beyond traditional rap structures.
In February 2025, Grisha released his debut EP ME2YOU, a seven-track project that reflects his artistic development and growing range as a songwriter. The EP marked a clear step forward in both sound and cohesion, positioning him for further live and release expansion.
