Project Chaos Presents: Transitions - A Gender Justice Fundraiser

Join us for an awesome in-person event that’s all about gender justice. Transitions is a fundraiser for the Bread and Roses Gender Justice Giving Project. Join us for a storytelling and art showcase that celebrates the complexity of gender: the beautiful, messy, and the transformative experiences that shape girlhood, womanhood, and gender expansion.

Includes speakers, poems, and artistic performances that uplift the diverse realities of gender expression and identity.

Speakers will also challenge the systems that perpetuate the narrow idea that womanhood equals anatomy and other harmful ideas.

This event will hold space for those who exist across and beyond the gender spectrum from the very femme to the very butch, from gender nonconforming and trans voices with a special emphasis on centering Black voices and experiences.

Alongside the speaker events, we will host a community resource table connecting attendees to local organizations, services, and movements advancing gender justice, rights, and liberation across Philadelphia.
