Argyle’s Sky Bet League One match against Wigan Athletic on Saturday, 4 October has been selected as the first dedicated takeover fixture of the 2025/26 season for Project 35, our award-winning social impact project in partnership with Ginsters.
As well as various activations around the stadium, including a guest appearance on Argyle TV’s Breakfast Show, if you have the means, we again put out the call to the Green Army and members of our community to bring items of in-date, non-perishable food, and hygiene products to Home Park. All donations will go to support those most vulnerable in our communities through our Manadon Food Larder and the wider food bank network.
The selection of the dedicated fixture comes fresh from the announcement that Principal Partner and long-term supporters of the club and trust, Ginsters, have extended their commitment to the project for two more years, with the Project 35 logo mark adorning Argyle’s shirts for a fourth season.
Since launching our dedicated fixtures back in October 2022, we have been overwhelmed by the support of the Green Army and our local communities. Over ten tonnes of food and hygiene products have been donated to date, along with thousands of pounds of physical donations, and donations through the dedicated JustGiving page – https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/project35. All donations support those most in need through the various strands of work provided by the project.
We will be collecting items at the pink Project 35 gazebo from midday until kick off outside the Babcock Devonport End. Pledge 35 volunteers, Ginsters staff, and Trust staff will be on hand to support collections and chat more about the wider aims of the project.
For more information, please contact Trevor Higgins on [email protected] or visit https://www.pafc.co.uk/project35 to find out more about the project and how you can get involved.
Thank you in advance for your incredible support!
