Artist Goshka Macuga was born in Poland in 1967 and has been based in London since 1989. In 2008 she was one of the four nominees for the Turner Prize and in December 2023 she was elected to the Royal Academy.Join us to hear her talk about her practice and her works in the 'Remember Respond Resist' exhibition, which explore themes of protest and Her work explores themes of protest, resistance and censorship.
Goshka's talk will run for up to 60 minutes with 30 minutes for Q&A afterwards.
This event is part of the 2025 Plymouth Community History Festival.
