Who Can Attend?
To be eligible for the Preparation for IES program, participants must be:
- A resident of Ontario
- Legal working age
- Eligible to work in Canada (open work permit, if applicable)
- Must NOT be enrolled or currently enrolled in an Integrated Employment Services program
On the spot intakes to confirm your eligibility will be completed. You should bring the following required documents (if available) to ensure a smooth intake process:
- Government-Issued Photo ID (e.g., Ontario Driverâs License, Ontario Photo Card, Passport, or Permanent Resident Card)
- Proof of Legal Work Status in Canada (one of the following):
- Canadian Birth Certificate
- Canadian Citizenship Certificate
- Permanent Resident (PR) Card
- Open Work Permit (Employer-Specific Work Permits are NOT eligible)
- Social Insurance Number (SIN) â Required for employment services.
- Updated Resume (if available) â If you donât have one, we can help you create one.
- Ontario Works (OW) or Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) Documents (if applicable) â For clients receiving social assistance.
Important Notes:
If you donât have all the above documents, you can still attend the information session and our team will guide you on how to obtain any missing documents.
