For the first time ever, Cooper Cogburn Presents is taking over the main room at The Devil's Acre for a night of Comedy and Cocktails! We're teaming up The City's best Mixologists & Comics to help you kick back and celebrate the mid-week. Great times abound as comedians baptize The Devil's Acre as a premium spot for comedy!
Comics include:
Chris Tabish is a veteran comedian who performs regularly in the bay area. He was recently headlined at Cobb’s, Who’s That?, SK Morton's, Grandpa's Cheese Book Launch & Comedy Album and has performed at the San Jose Improv, The Purple Onion and his upstairs shower. He is the co-founder of Cooper Cogburn Presents which has produced numerous shows benefitting food banks, the performing arts, animals and wildfire relief. Chris is the author of the books Comediology, No Laughing! and Why are We Here? He is the founder of The Comediology Company, whose continuing mission is to help people find more joy at work using the principles of comedy. Chris has also been featured in Tharawat Magazine, Broadcast Amsterdam, U Didn’t Get The Memo and numerous other podcasts across the kingdom.
David Dominguez is an up and coming comedian out of the San Francisco Bay Area with a comedic style best described as irreverent. His silly takes on serious topics will leave you laughing or speechless. He's notorious for ruining sunsets at Lake Merritt with The Lake Night Show, an open mic run through the majority of the quarantine. Leah Rogers is a stand up comedian finding humor in parenting and living in the bay area. She is the co-founder of Cooper Cogburn Presents and co-produces a weekly comedy mic.
Dvontre Colman is a standup comedian you can see him performing all over the bay area.
Sarah Guth started comedy when she realized she had 28 years of material. Her blend of dark wit and light, quirky humor will surprise you and erase all your preconceptions about her curly blonde hair and single dimple. She is constantly writing and has performed at venues all over the Bay Area such as Cobb’s Comedy Club, Alameda Comedy Club, and Neck of the Woods.
"San Francisco native, Justin Lucas, can be seen acting on both stage and film when he’s not writing sketch comedy. Having performed stand-up since 2011, he's won several competitions, and was given a “Bay Area Reporter” award for Best Male Comedian. He has nice hair."
