Join Maggie Douglas, Kabi Kabi people, First Nations Program Convenor and National Gallery Artist Educators for a full-day professional learning program focused on the exhibition Ngura Puḻka – Epic Country.
This session will focus on key works in the exhibition alongside the National Gallery Art Through Culture principles, developed in consultation with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. The session is also informed by the National Gallery’s creative learning approach, centering the voice of the artist and including multimodal ways to engage with works of art through creative learning strategies.
Open to early learning, primary, secondary, and tertiary educators, and other youth and arts professionals. Educators are also invited to use National Gallery learning resources and online programs to engage before or after the session.
Please wear comfortable clothes for multimodal artmaking.
