You are warmly invited to a ceremonial performance by Yozmit marking the opening of her 8-week residency at Angels Gate Cultural Center.
PRNCX: Through the Gate is a Living Funeral Performance—an intimate contemporary ritual exploring release, renewal, and the courage to become. This gathering serves as an initiation for the residency PRNCX Avatar WALKshop and invites the community to witness a passage through endings and beginnings together.
Set against the ocean horizon near the historic Korean Bell of Friendship, the afternoon unfolds as a shared threshold experience—part performance, part ceremony, part collective reflection.
Program
3:30 PM – Arrival & Picnic
Guests are encouraged to arrive early, bring a small picnic, and enjoy the ocean view before the performance begins.
4:00 PM – Outdoor Performance
The first part of the Living Funeral Performance will take place outdoors
5:00 PM – Walking Transition & Tour
Following the outdoor performance, Yozmit will guide guests through the grounds of Angels Gate Cultural Center.
5:30 PM – Indoor Performance at the Artist Studio
The second part of the performance continues inside Yozmit’s new studio.
6:30 PM – Closing & Light Refreshments
What to Bring
PLEASE WEAR PINK ATTIRE !
This is your pink funeral too! Bring somehting you want to release and let go in writing.
• Sun protection (umbrella, hat, or sunscreen)
• An extra layer, as it can get chilly by the ocean even on sunny days
• A picnic blanket if you would like to relax before the performance

Free — RSVP required through Eventbrite.
Donation tickets are available to support the artist and the residency.
