The Private Renters Conference 2025 invites local government and VCS professionals working at the frontline of the housing crisis to come together to improve housing conditions in the private rented sector. As the Renter's Rights Bill nears completion in Parliament, this is a pivotal time to plan for the road ahead, learn from each other's insights on the sector, and work together to better support private renters.

What to expect:

Insights on implementation of the Renter's Rights Bill and Mayor's work on renters' reform from the Greater London Authority
Updates on homelessness and enforcement services from Southwark Council Private Rented Sector housing teams
Critical discussion of how statutory, VCS and legal services can better coordinate to improve conditions for private renters.
