About VC Expeditions
Info: Our Mission:
Making marine science accessible to all through immersive & educational trips.
At VC Expeditions our mission is to inspire curiosity and understanding of the ocean through hands-on learning and real-world experiences. We work with communities, schools, and organizations across North America and the Caribbean to foster stewardship and a shared commitment to protecting our oceans for future generations. VC Expeditions helps bridge this gap by connecting scientists, educators, and community partners with research vessels that can get them into the field safely and effectively. Working with platforms like R/V ROBERT GRAY—currently supporting cNAMMs circumnavigation research and Seakeepers—we ensure capability and flexibility needed for successful missions.
Speaker
Enzo Barracco
Info: “I believe Enzo’s work is a great way for key conservation messages to be relayed. Everyone has a role to play in conservation and protecting areas of the world that are at risk. Art, such as Enzo’s work, is a hugely effective way to communicate this message. It plays a crucial educational role, but it is also accessible and appealing.”
— Sir Ranulph Fiennes “Enzo Barracco’s feature of Antarctica is a timely reflection on the wider impact of the built environment on climate change. With the concept of global warming intangible to many, Enzo’s work helps to remind us that human activity has far-reaching consequences for the rest of the planet.”
— Royal Institute of British Architects, London
