Let’s Go Crazy: The Prince Choreography Experience
Get ready to step into the purple velvet spotlight! Since the Purple One rarely used traditional "backup dancer" routines, we’re doing something better: we’ve crafted original, Prince-inspired choreography that captures his iconic energy, from those sharp, funky pivots to the soulful, fluid swagger.
The Setlist
We’ll be breaking down three of his most legendary tracks:
• I Would Die 4 U: High-energy, ethereal, and full of heart.
• When Doves Cry: Mood, attitude, and avant-garde precision.
• Gett Off: Pure, unadulterated funk and 23-karat gold swagger.
The Details
• Duration: A consecutive 7-week deep dive into the Minneapolis Sound.
• Performance Night: Tuesday, July 21st (Dress to impress—purple is highly encouraged!).
Grab your lace gloves, leave your inhibitions at the door, and let’s make the Purple One proud. Great way to get some exercise and meet new friends. Must be 21+ to perform at the club, 18+ to take the class.
✨ What You'll Learn: We'll break down the steps focusing on musicality, style, and performance. This class is open to all levels of dancers – we even use a music slowing app so that everyone can get up to speed.
