Hvad sker der, når en klovn og en musiker mødes?
Dette spørgsmål vil blive udforsket, når CRRNT Collective i samarbejde med den professionelle klovn og scenekunstner William Yazaki inviterer til en særlig tværfaglig aften, hvor klovne og musikere mødes, skaber sammen og forenes gennem improvisation.
Som resultat af en workshop ledet af William Yazaki vil han og et ensemble af musikere præsentere en forestilling i to dele. Forestillingen arbejder med improvisation inden for klovnekunsten, overført til improvisation inden for musikken. Med fokus på at omfavne fejl og finde glæde i at blive set og hørt vil ensemblet sammen skabe en forestilling, der er skabt specielt til denne aften!

William Yazaki er fysisk skuespiller og musikalsk performer med 10 års erfaring inden for scenekunst og samarbejdsprocesser. Han er uddannet i Lecoq-traditionen inden for fysisk teater og klovnekunst ved École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq (FR) og Estudis de Teatre Berty Tovías (ES) i 2016. Siden 2020 har han regelmæssigt deltaget i stemmelaboratorier på Roy Hart Theatre, arbejdet som hospitalsklovn og undervist og faciliteret workshops for børn og unge.
CRRNT Collective er et musikerfællesskab bestående af syv kunstnere fra forskellige lande, der primært har base i København. Siden 2022 har kollektivet arrangeret koncerter i København med både nye og etablerede kunstnere, både fra kollektivet og udenfor. CRRNT Collectives vision er at være en platform for mindre kommercielt anerkendt og eksperimenterende ny musik, der samler musikalske udtryk fra forskellige kulturer og baggrunde, så den kan nå ud til et nysgerrigt og nyt publikum og skabe et stærkere fællesskab omkring kulturelle oplevelser.

What happens in the meeting between a clown and a musician?
This question will be explored when CRRNT Collective, in collaboration with professional clown and performing artist William Yazaki, invites you to a special interdisciplinary evening where clowns and musicians meet, create together and unite through Improvisation.
As a result of a workshop led by William Yazaki, he and an ensemble of musicians will present a performance in two parts. The performance works with improvisation within the field of clowning, transferred to improvisation within music. With a focus on embracing mistakes and finding pleasure in being seen and heard, the ensemble will co-create a performance created especially for this evening!

William Yazaki is a physical actor and musical performer with 10 years of experience in performing arts and collaborative processes. He trained in the Lecoq tradition of physical theatre and clowning at the École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq (FR) and Estudis de Teatre Berty Tovías (ES) in 2016. Since 2020, he has regularly participated in voice work laboratories at the Roy Hart Theatre, worked as a hospital clown, and taught and facilitated workshops for children and young people.
CRRNT Collective is a collective of musicians consisting of seven artists from different countries, primarily based in Copenhagen. Since 2022, the collective has organised concerts in Copenhagen with upcoming and established artists, both from within and outside the collective. CRRNT Collective's vision is to be a platform for less commercially recognised and experimental new music, bringing together musical expressions from different cultures and backgrounds so that it can reach a curious and new audience and create more community around cultural experiences.
