Who is this course for?
- Anyone who wants to try out social dancing.
- Anyone who has taken Zouk from Zero (or Intro to Zouk) before, but wants to revisit the basics, which we highly recommend.
What will you learn?
"Intro to Zouk" is where your Zouk journey begins! The curriculum is designed to guide you through all the essentials, taking you from zero and preparing you for the social dance floor.
We highly recommend that you do this course more than once for the best results, and the team is always ready to give you more or less challenges depending on your needs. Research in learning science and motor skill development shows that repeating a new skill across multiple sessions each week helps you remember more, build confidence faster, and make real progress. After that, you'll be ready to join any of the open-level courses. You'll have a foundation that makes it easier to build on new concepts and integrate them into what you've already learned.
You don't need any dance experience to join this class, and you don't have to sign up with a partner. Everyone is welcome!
When and where?
This course takes place on 6 Tuesdays at 19-20:30 in Studio B.
This course is free for those who have already taken it, as long as they subscribe for at least one other course.
Your course fee also includes free access to the Tuesday Social. Just sign up on the days that you can join. It's a great chance to practice what you're learning in class, dance with more experienced partners, and build confidence on the social floor.
The class is taught by rotating Inflow team members - all highly qualified to get you ready for the dance floor quickly!
