Howdy folks!We are exactly one month out from a hootenanny you won't wanna miss!
Come on out on Friday April 11th to Slieve Brewing at 6:30 PM to commemorate the 5th year since Handsome John Prine shuffled off this mortal coil with a whole bunch of local Northern Nevada singers and guitar slingers playing their favorite Prine tunes.
Since Handsome John wrote so many fine songs about folks struggling to get by, we figured we should take the opportunity to gather up a few bucks for some folks doing a whole lot for some local folks struggling to get by so The Assistance League of Reno will be taking donations while the troubadours bang on their guitars and strut all about the stage. There's no cover so donations are highly encouraged. The fine folks at Slieve Brewing are kicking in a dollar for every beer sold while the music is going, so there are many ways you can help out.
