About this Event
We are excited for our 3rd Annual Challenge for Charity! Every year beginning on our 10th anniversary, we celebrate our "business birthday" with a special event to raise money and awareness for local nonprofits. Teams can be sponsored by an individual or a business and are comprised of 6 players. Each team has the opportunity to share resources and literature to share about the mission of the organization they are playing for.
There are spots for only 20 teams. Last year, 1st place won $2000 for the Food Bank of Northern Nevada. Second place won $1500 for Smile Train, and third place won $1000 for the Parkinson's Support Center of Northern Nevada. All of the other organizations received a donation of $75.
Money raiseded from entry fees, raffle ticket sales, and the live auction for Game Cheats during the event is divided up among the participating nonprofits. DJ Trivia Sierra Nevada does NOT make any money at this event.
