Showroom FIGUR and RED DOOR join forces this October, as part of RESONANS fringe, to welcome you to:"Primal Resonance"
a solo exhibition by Madam Neverstop.
"Primal Resonance" evokes a deep, vibrant, fundamental connection to the essential, raw vibrations and echoes of our inner ecology. It suggests an inherent connection that originates from the very core of the natural world and resonates in each one of us.
The exhibition is accompanied by soundscapes composed by the artist and is open to the public.
Reception by the Embassy of Colombia in Denmark.
The opening event is from 12 - 16 on October 10, but the exhibition will be on display from October 8 to the 13th as part of the festival.
ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Elizabeth Torres (Madam Neverstop) 1987. Colombian/American poet, translator and multimedia artist.
Her work intertwines poetry, visions and soundscapes with language and performance across various art forms and media.
She has a background in Media & Film and Fine Arts from Kean University, NJ, and an MFA in Performing Arts from Den Danske Scenekunstskole (Writing Specialization, 2023).
Creating under the name of Madam Neverstop, her interests involve soundscapes, visual arts through fabrics, thread, papers, paintings… all of this centered around conversations on agency, identity and territory.
