Pride in Recovery

This drop-in group meeting is facilitated by Sahir House, Liverpool's largest & oldest LGBTQ+ charity.

The meetings take place on the last Friday of the month in the Liverpool City Centre.

The support group is held in the city, but covers the Liverpool City Region, and offers a safe and friendly space for folx who identify as LGBTQ+ and are experiencing substance misuse.

This is an opportunity to meet others, support one another, chat and discuss issues affecting LGBTQ+ people. in addition to;

- Signposting to services and further support

- Information about LGBTQ+ health and wellbeing

The meeting runs from 1pm-3pm.

Due to limited capacity, we ask those who would like to attend in person to book a place via Eventbrite. There will be a maximum of 8 attendees.

This allows for a safe and manageable group session, creating a comfortable and relaxed experience for those attending.

The Brink serve a variety of refreshments and hot & cold drinks, which are available at the counter.

*By booking a place, you agree to registering as a service user at Sahir House. If you have not been to Sahir House before, you will be required to complete a self-referral form, which will be emailed to you to be completed before you attend the meeting.

If you book and then find you are unable to attend, please cancel your ticket so someone else can take your place.

This support group is strictly for folk who identify as LGBTQ+. If you are an ally (someone who supports a LGBTQ+ person), and have a query you would like answering, please contact Sahir House directly, rather than booking a place on this event.
