Tony is doing all the admin for it and sorting out wristbands.
Phil will be organising the group on the day itself.
We'll be joined by members of the UK Equality Dance Council.
Mark yourself as 'GOING' to this event and Tony will reserve you a wristband.
If you change your mind later that's completely OK but do let us know so the wristband can be used for someone else

π³οΈβπ WHERE π³οΈβπ
We'll meet in the east side of Berkeley Square W1 before joining the parade line-up on Park Lane.
The Parade will start from Park Lane.
The best tube to arrive at is Bond St (Marble Arch has limited capacity and will be very busy. Green Park is possible but may take longer as often only the South entrance is open. Because of the Parade set-up it will be difficult to get to us from Hyde Park Corner).
DO ALLOW EXTRA TIME as the tubes and surrounding roads will be very busy.
Tony will be dressed in silver sequins and will be hard to miss. We will also have a small trolley with rainbow flags.
οΏΌ
π³οΈβπ WHEN π³οΈβπ
We'll know exactly nearer the time when we've been allocated our position in the parade.
οΏΌ
π³οΈβπ DRESS CODE π³οΈβπ
There is no dress code
Colourful, sparkly, eye-catching are all encouraged.
Sunscreen is advised.
Most importantly smile, have fun, be yourself.
οΏΌ
π³οΈβπ THE PARADE π³οΈβπ
We will be dancing. We will have some simple routines. Both are optional - just come and enjoy yourself.
We recommend that you, at the very least, bring a bottle of water.
Please donβt expect to be able to dump your bag on the music trolley.
There will be 50 of us and there isnβt room for 50 rucksacks.
Somebody has to push it and we have a lot of electronics on board for the sound system.
We'd also be really grateful for volunteers to push the trolley for a couple of songs.
Please note that Pride is a public event and photos/videos of us dancing will undoubtedly be uploaded to social media

π³οΈβπ REHEARSAL π³οΈβπ
We hope to have at least one rehearsal in Regent's Park before Pride.
We'll also go over the routines on the day before we join the Parade.
οΏΌοΏΌ
π³οΈβπ COST π³οΈβπ
There is no charge this year for community groups.
In previous years I've held a small collection on the day to cover the cost of entry with any left over money going to the Albert Kennedy Trust to support young LGBTQ+ homeless people.
I won't be doing that this year but if you'd like to make a donation to AKT you can here https://www.akt.org.uk/Appeal/donate
