Preventing HPV-induced cancers through vaccination is crucial for protecting communities by reducing disease burden, safeguarding public health, and saving lives. Vaccination not only helps stop the spread of HPV but also dramatically reduces the incidence of related cancers, including cervical, anal, and oropharyngeal cancers. In response, the World Federation of Public Health Associations has launched a comprehensive series of six online training sessions, each tailored to address the unique challenges and needs of various regions around the world in preventing HPV-related cancers. These sessions are designed to be highly interactive, fostering engagement by encouraging participants to share their experiences and insights.
The sixth session will focus on the Arab world, featuring case studies from different countries in the region. Speakers will present their national strategies for preventing HPV-induced cancers and share key lessons on how to advocate for, and collaborate with, governments, national and international stakeholders, and local communities to advance cancer prevention. This knowledge exchange aims to equip health professionals across other Arab countries with the tools to promote HPV vaccination and develop effective prevention strategies in their own contexts.
Please take note that this event will be in Arabic.
