The last quarter of the year is always a significant time of reflection and dreaming for me. It can also be a pressurizing time too though as we all resist the temptation of consumerism and the lure of the 'New Year New You’ mantras compelling us to set unrealistic goals and to expect change overnight.
Ahead of 2025 and the festive season we're tapping into the theme:pressure off productivity. Expect interactive discussions that draw on literature, art, faith and culture as we explore both the personal and environmental factors shaping our experiences.

Monique Thomas is a psychotherapist, singer/songwriter and published author of the book 'Pressure off.'
Over the past 15 years she has hosted numerous events and wellbeing programmes in prisons, community settings, churches and for businesses alike. Her creative approach to the spaces she creates fosters connection in a unique way.
Having it all together is a myth, but learning how to embrace grace is central to her story. As a mum to 3 young boys she recognises that making the time for self care isn't always easy, but it is a necessary and essential part of her holistic commitment to wellbeing.
She believes in the power of community and gathering people together for collective transformation.
