Pressed Flower Herbarium and Art

Come to this informative and entertaining workshop where you will learn about preserving flowers and leaves by pressing them. Mrs Darts preserved many specimens this way as she learned about plants and sent them to others to confirm species.

We will press fresh flowers and use already-dried material to create art.

Registration cost includes all materials – a small plant press, and matte board to mount the art you create from the flowers we have prepared.

Bring scissors and any snacks and drinks you will want.

Registration is limited to 10.
