Honor a Legacy: Preserving the Nakashima Family House
Join us at the Moderne Gallery for a conversation about the collaborative efforts to study and preserve the Nakashima Family Home.
Mira Nakashima will share memories of growing up in New Hope and the ongoing work of the Nakashima Foundation for Peace in preserving and interpreting the Home. Joining her is John Hinchman from the University of Pennsylvania's Graduate Program in Historic Preservation, who will detail recent innovative research of the House's construction.
Tickets for the lecture are by donation, with all proceeds going towards the ongoing campaign to support preservation efforts of the Family House.
The talk will be followed by an opening reception for George Nakashima: Foundations of Form: An exploration of George Nakashima’s early work. Tickets for just the reception are available here.
