About this Event
Campdale's 5th premiere welcomes you to the Prince Charles Cinema on Sunday 24th November for director Chaa Ustaoglu's triple bill!
Doors will open at 12:00 and the event will commence sharply at 12:15 with Chaa's debut short, Precipice (2023), before screening the long-awaited A Fig Story (2024) and My Cuppa Tea (2024).
We hope to celebrate Chaa's works alongside the collective efforts of Campdale Motion over the last few years, and launch our next phase as a collective. We will conclude the event with a Q&A, before continuing the conversations at a nearby cafe. Seats are limited, so make sure to get your tickets soon!
About the films
A Fig Story follows Adam seeking an unconventional solution for reconciliation when his career demands begin to clash with his morals and growing attractions for his colleague.
My Cuppa Tea was originally crafted for the Straight 8 competition. Filmed on a single Super8mm film cartridge with no retakes or editing, it is about a British woman on her odyssey to obtain milk for her tea.
We intend these films to spark important conversations about responsibility, moral integrity, and cultural exchange. We hope you can partake in experiencing them with us.

About the venue
Prince Charles Cinema is considered to be one of the most popular Independent Cinema’s in the UK, if not the world. It is known for its eclectic film programming and nostalgic atmosphere, and is the last of the independents still operating in London’s cine-famous ‘West End’.
We are immensely excited to premiere our upcoming films in this special space, and cannot wait to have you there with us.
