About this Event
Clunie Fretton is an award-winning, classically-trained master carver, sculptor and gilder. Her work is in the Houses of Parliament, the Victoria & Albert Museum, St. George's Chapel Windsor and museums, cathedrals and churches around the UK.
This visit offers a rare opportunity to see sculpture in development, from initial concept through to fabrication, and to hear directly from Clunie about her working methods, materials, and collaborations. Her practice explores form, space and context, with a strong emphasis on craft and the physical act of making, themes that resonate strongly across architecture, engineering and the applied arts.
