POWERMAN 5000Powerman 5000 (often abbreviated as PM5K) is an American rock band from Boston, Massachusetts, best known for their platinum-selling 1999 album Tonight the Stars Revolt! and the hit single "When Worlds Collide". Founded in 1991 by frontman Spider One (Michael Cummings), who is the younger brother of metal musician Rob Zombie, the band is famous for its high-energy "Action Rock" aesthetic, blending science fiction themes with industrial metal and nu-metal sounds.
