Discover the vibrant and creative world of resin art in this beginner-friendly introduction class! Students will learn how to safely work with resin while creating their own one-of-a-kind pieces on tiles. Using a variety of colorful pigments and additives, participants will explore how different effects—such as marbling, layering, and fluid designs—can transform simple materials into stunning works of art.Throughout the class, students will be guided step-by-step through the process of properly measuring and mixing resin to ensure a successful cure. Emphasis will be placed on safety practices, workspace preparation, and techniques for achieving beautiful results.
By the end of the session, each student will have created a unique resin tile that can be displayed as wall art or used as a functional coaster—perfect for adding a personal, artistic touch to any space.
Please note that your project will need to be left undisturbed for about 24 hours while the resin cures. They will be available for pick-up from Launchspace the day after the class.
Ages: 16+ or 14+ with parent supervision
