About this Location:
Revival Wheeler Mansion is a 15,000-square-foot Gilded Age estate in Orange, Massachusetts, currently undergoing an extensive restoration. Originally built in 1903 for industrialist John W. Wheeler, the 21-room mansion has transitioned from a private home to a Masonic rest home, faced abandonment and foreclosure, and is now being revitalized as a bed-and-breakfast and event venue.

Historical Timeline:
1903–1910: Built by John W. Wheeler, president of the New Home Sewing Machine Company, for his wife, Almira.
1925–1990: Served as a rest home for the Ladies of the Order of the Eastern Star, a Masonic appendant organization.
1990–2015: Transitioned back to private ownership but eventually fell into foreclosure and was abandoned for five years, suffering severe damage from burst pipes and a leaking roof.
2020–Present: Purchased at auction for $150,000 by Cynthia Butler after she saw a "Save this House" post on Instagram.

Under Cynthia Butler's ownership, the mansion officially opened as a Bed and Breakfast in April 2024 following a high-profile ribbon-cutting ceremony.

About John: John Huntington's paranormal journey started in 2012. He moved into a building that was the subject of a book called "Lucifer's Child" by Elliot Epstein, which tells the story of a horrific incident in 1984. During that time, John Lane, believing his 4-year-old daughter Angela Palmer was possessed, placed her in an oven and tragically burned her to death. John has been part of multiple paranormal teams over the years and is perhaps best known for being the former caretaker of the "Conjuring House," where he stayed for a year documenting paranormal activity. He has also appeared on "Exploring with Josh" Beyond the Dark series on YouTube, as well as in the documentary films "Sleepless Unrest" and "The Harrisville Haunting." Additionally, he has made appearances on Ghost Adventures and Fright Club. John also builds his own paranormal equipment and is known for conducting spirit box sessions.
