Pottery Class: Wall Hanging Curio

Our experienced instructors will guide you through the process, from molding the clay to painting your masterpiece. No prior experience is needed - just bring your enthusiasm and creativity! Learn to connect slabs to make your own curio. Techniques include applying clay coils to seams. Templates and samples will be provided to help guide and choose curio structure.Clay is a creamy white and will be fired with a clear glaze. Returned to Monster in four weeks.
This class will take place at Monster. Our address is 1716 NW Market Street, Seattle, WA 98107. It's at the intersection of 17th and NW Market Street - kitty corner from Mighty-O Donuts
6 people minimum, 12 maximum. Ages 15 and up.
If you cannot attend class for any reason, we will offer an exchange to another class currently on our schedule up to 48 hours before the class. After that time, no refunds or exchanges are issued out of respect for our teachers who purchase and prepare supplies based on the number of attendees.
Our current Covid protocol is that anyone attending an event can email us at [email protected] to let us know they prefer that people wear masks up to 72 hours before the event begins. Your request is anonymous to all the other participants.
Attendees will receive an email before the class to let them know If we will be requiring masks be worn.
About Our Instructor
Laura Souyoultzis is a 20 year veteran of ceramics and has been bringing projects to classrooms for over 15 years. She is the current president of Washington Clay Arts and works out of her studio in the Roosevelt neighborhood.
