Celebrate the joyful spirit of May Day with a hands-on container workshop inspired by one of spring’s sweetest traditions! For centuries, May Day has been a time to welcome the season of renewal—sharing flowers, color, and a little happiness with neighbors and friends. In that same spirit, you’ll create a vibrant container filled with life, color, and the promise of the growing season.

Think of your pot as a blank palette, ready to be filled with your imagination and creativity. Become a plant artist as you design a joyful, colorful arrangement using plants of varying heights, textures, and bloom times. Choose from a beautiful selection of perennials, annuals, and herbs to create a container that shines from spring through summer.

Alison will guide you through the art of plant selection and design, and share her best tips for keeping your container healthy, thriving, and looking its best all season long

Workshop Highlights

· Container design basics: thrillers, fillers, and spillers

· Using color, texture, size, and seasonal bloom timing

· Step-by-step plant selection and arrangement

Participants will select plants for their containers from our diverse nursery inventory and receive personalized help as they design and plant.
