Explanation of Sessions:

Is college for me? This session will focus on the multiple pathways that students can take once they graduate high school. This includes trade schools, employment, special programs and college. Participants will be provided with a list of post secondary resources.


Which college is best for me? This session will focus on parents and students becoming partners in the post secondary process. This session will also cover specific components students should research when choosing a college. Participants will be provided with a template of questions to ask when doing a campus visit.


How do I pay for college? This session will focus on loan forgiveness programs, institution based scholarships, external scholarships, private loans vs. government loans and FAFSA myths. Participants will be provided with a list of scholarship resources.
