Rallying around influences such as Deftones, Failure and Quicksand, the band refined a sound that became their 2022 debut, ‘When You Think It’s Right It’s Always Wrong’, garnering over 1million independent streams. ’Self Defeater’ (2024) is a masterfully created record, letting the world know who they are. Wayside have been riding a wave since the release of their sophomore record, ‘What Does Your Soul Look Like’ and numerous tours, including sold out headline shows and sharing bills with the likes of Boston Manor, Movements, Don Broco and more. Their sound is inspired by elements of 90’s alt & indie, FFO Deftones, Citizen and Limp Bizkit.
