Post Natal Pilates Mini Retreat & Workshop
A safe space for you to focus on getting your body strong to support you as you begin this exciting journey of motherhood. Whether it’s your first time round or not, your body will have gone through some huge changes and with a Pilates programme we can work on regaining core strength, Pelvic floor muscular strength and an awareness of your body as it is now.
You can have your baby right there with you, so you are free to tend to their needs whilst still being part of the class.
To finish there will be a short mindfulnes mediation and a chance to chat and meet with other mums and have a cuppa!
Benefits of Post Natal Pilates
· Regain abdominal, core, pelvic floor muscle strength
· Help with posture (neck back, shoulders) and muscular skeletal balance, especially now when you will spend time lifting, feeding your baby, posture can be affected
· Breath work and exercises to help knit the abdominal muscles back together following diastasis recti
· Retraining of muscle activation to help with future incontinence and avoid pain and injury further down the line
