VFW Post & Auxiliary Members are excited to come together to take care of the grounds and facilities for our wonderful friends at Oldsmar Cares. It's a great way for us to give back and support our community! Local veterans and their families who are interested in learning more about our local projects, how to join our VFW, or want to know more about our support for Oldsmar Cares are welcome to join us.
We will gather around 1pm to distribute tasks and chores based on capabilities and available tools.
Three OC buildings.
- Pressure washing exterior
- Cleaning the sidewalks
- Clearing out the cutters.
Landscaping
- including trimming a few bushes, sidewalks, and a palm tree.
- I have a ladder, trimmers, and a W**d eater. Bring an extra if you want.
- Putting trash and yard waste in bags.
Main Parking Lot. (After the parking lot clears ~ 1:30pm)
- Washing and then retaping and painting new lines.
- Identifying and marking new ADA parking
