About this Event
This class will address how to produce unique portraits through the use of light and the effect it has on your subject. We will show you how the placement of your light source can create depth and dimension in your images. The principles you will learn will apply to the use of a pocket flash, studio strobe, sunlight or any constant light source you might have available and can be applied to any type of photography. We will also experiment with light modifiers to produce different moods in your images. Each student will have the opportunity to work with a live model to capture images useful for portfolio or future reference.
The class will be taught by Jon Campbell. Jon has been a professional photographer in the Southern California area for over 35 years. He is a PPA Certified Professional Photographer, and loves to share his knowledge and experience with others. His easy-going teaching style and lighting numbering system will help you to understand where to place your light source, and how it can improve any type of image you might be working on.
