Each Portland Festival Symphony performance provides a living wage, access to healthcare and pension contributions for working professional musicians. Supporting the Portland Festival Symphony means supporting musicianship as a livelihood.
Portland Festival Symphony has been an accredited 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization since 1981. All donations are tax deductible and over 90% of Portland Festival Symphony expenses go directly to our professional musicians who are paid to perform directly in the heart of a communal park, free to all who wish to listen - true to Maestro Lajos Balogh's vision as a community building event.
Please bring a picnic and a friend on Saturday August 16th to Foothills Park in Lake Oswego for free classical music performed by paid professional musicians. Music begins promptly at 7:00 PM.
