Award-winning journalist, former co-anchor of CNN’s flagship morning show, and Founder and CEO of Day 2 Media, Poppy Harlow will join us for a conversation on leadership, reinvention, and the pivotal moments that shape a life and career.
The conversation will explore Harlow’s professional journey, from her years at CNN to the launch of Day 2 Media, her new venture dedicated to stories of resilience, transformation, and leadership. Through her forthcoming book, podcast, and media platform, Day 2 examines the defining decisions, unexpected transitions, and personal convictions that often lie behind exceptional careers.
The discussion will be followed by an audience Q&A and a reception.
Poppy Harlow
Poppy Harlow is an award-winning journalist and the Founder and CEO of Day 2 Media. Formerly the co-anchor of CNN’s flagship morning show, she is the co-author of The Color of Love, the author of The Biggest Little Boy, and the forthcoming book Day 2. Through Day 2 Media, Harlow focuses on stories of reinvention, resilience, leadership, and navigating profound personal and professional change.
Over the course of her career, Harlow has interviewed many of the world’s most influential leaders — including Warren Buffett, Jamie Dimon, Melinda French Gates, Sundar Pichai, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and Prime Ministers Jacinda Ardern and Justin Trudeau — and moderated two CNN Presidential Town Halls.
A member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a Henry Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute, Harlow graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Columbia University with a degree in political science. She also holds a Master of Studies in Law from Yale Law School and chairs the WSJ Board of Directors Council.
Born and raised in Minnesota, Harlow now lives in New York with her husband, Sinisa, and their two children, Sienna and Luca.
Harlow delivered the commencement address at Columbia University in 2024.
