Course Description:
Chakras are powerful energy centers in the body, each intimately connected with specific emotions (e.g. security, creativity, will-power, love). Through the challenges of life, we often unknowingly create physical and emotional blocks in the chakras, closing ourselves off from feeling fully alive. Yoga can access these power centers and open them up.
Discover powerful yogic techniques to enliven, purify, and strengthen each of the seven chakras main chakras. This invigorating workshop includes detoxifying asana, pranayama, meditation, Bija mantra, and brief journaling practices specifically chosen to access each of the seven chakras. Leave feeling fresh, open, and revitalized!

About Your Teacher:
Larissa Hall Carlson, M.A. Mindfulness Studies, Ayurvedic Practitioner, E-RYT 500 and Kripalu 1000-hr teacher, is a mindfulness, yoga, and Ayurveda professional with over 18 years of teaching experience at some of our country’s most prestigious institutions, including The Boston Conservancy, Cleveland Institute of Music, and Tanglewood Music Center. Larissa is senior faculty at Kripalu, previously served as Dean of the Kripalu School of Ayurveda, and is the co-creator of two popular online courses with Yoga Journal, Ayurveda 101 and 201. Specializing in pranayama, yoga for performers, mindfulness, and Ayurveda, she supports students and clients in deepening their practice, finding radiant health and making the most of this life.
