It's that time of the year again! The Ponies are adding to their stable and looking for the best improv performers in the mid-Missouri area to join the team.The Ponies specialize in short-form improv comedy and play and perform games made famous by shows like, "Whose Line is it Anyway." Our team also creates and workshops our own games and show concepts to create original content.
What to expect:
The audition begins at 10am at Talking Horse Productions and lasts about an hour. During that time, those auditioning will be taken through some of our favorite improv activities. Our team will be looking for how well auditioners work with one another, make character choices, think on their feet, and adapt to direction.
Auditions are limited to the first 10 that sign-up. If we receive more audition forms after that we will conduct a second audition that day at 11am. An audition callback will also occur the following week, Sunday, May 3, during our regular practice time of 6pm.
**It is highly recommended that those auditioning attend a Ponies show prior to the audition.**
What you get:
The Ponies has been performing for audiences for 7 years. Members on the team will practice weekly on Sundays from 6-7:30pm and have regular performance opportunities, including two per month at Talking Horse Productions, but also other mid-MO theatres. Being a part of the team provides training, development, and creative opportunities.
