The regular monthly meeting of the Polk County Genealogical Society is this Thursday, April 2 at 7:00 p.m. Our speakers are Leta Gass and Martha Offutt. They will be sharing about the diary of Charlotte Coffin Gardner. The diary was written from 1852 – 1855. Much of it was written while she was aboard the ship the "Sara Parker." Meetings are free and open to the public. We hope to see you then.
