Polish Migrant Women\u2019s Portraits: Exhibition, then Walk in Gunnersbury Park

We visit a Polish Migrant Women’s Portraits exhibition, then take a gentle guided walk through Gunnersbury Park.
About this Event

Come and join Talking and Exploring for a special visit to the exhibition of Polish Migrant Women’s Portraits by Polish artist Anna Jochymek, followed by a guided walk in Gunnersbury Park.

We will meet at the entrance to Gunnersbury Park Museum, visit the exhibition together, and then head into the park for a gentle stroll. Along the way, we will explore the park’s layered history and learn about the preservation work currently taking place.

As always, there will be an optional chill-and-chat at the (new) park café at the end. Participants are also welcome to return to the museum afterwards.

This is a donation-based event, with £5–£10 suggested, and limited free places available — no one is excluded for financial reasons.

Talking and Exploring celebrates 10 years since the founding of the Ealing Walking Talking and Exploring Group and continues to bring people together through shared learning, conversation and exploration. As Joanna is Polish, you can expect some Polish themes among this year’s programme.
