Aga Zaryan, internationally acclaimed jazz singer, made history as the first Polish artist to release records under New York’s legendary Blue Note Records label, joining the ranks of jazz icons like Norah Jones, Nina Simone, Miles Davis, and Bobby McFerrin.
Her creativity embodies the finest traditions in jazz, continuing the legacy of legendary female jazz vocalists. With a unique style characterized by a lightness of phrasing and a warm, matte tone, Aga Zaryan has become one of the most recognizable and respected voices in the genre.
Zaryan’s global recognition is also a result of her many accolades, including numerous wins in Jazz Forum magazine’s Jazz Top poll for Jazz Vocalist of the Year. In 2022, her eleventh album, Sara, was released to critical acclaim, earning her the title of Best Polish Jazz Singer of the Year in Jazz Top 2022. The album's success reflects her ability to connect with a broad audience, demonstrating that ambition and a sublime style can captivate listeners worldwide.
Apart from her musical achievements, Zaryan is deeply involved in social causes, serving as a PAH Ambassador and an associate of KPH. For her activism, she was honored with the Star of Charity in 2017.
