Polework is an excellent way to prepare riders and horses for jumping, but it has many more benefits. Polework requires precision so it can help you to refine your aids. It helps to improve balance and rhythm. Improves accuracy, straightness and ability to judge a stride. It is a fun way to improve horse and rider fitness and improve your horse’s performance for flatwork and jumping. Join Amanda Melton BHS APC level 3, on Thursdays at 2.30pm for different polework patterns every week. Bring your own horse or ride one of ours. Own horses must be able to work in a group. Challenges will be suitable for riders working in walk and trot with the opportunity to try some in canter if you want to.
