Poetry of the Senses
An experiential poetry & writing workshop with Jennifer Barone
Embark on an experiential journey through the senses in this generative poetry and writing workshop to celebrate Poetry Month. We will explore ways to see, hear, smell, taste and touch through a series of brief, guided prompt exercises designed to spark memories, inspire dreams and visions for our work. There will be time to write, share (optional), and play throughout the workshop. The intention is that you will leave with a handful of starts to continue crafting. Come meet other local creatives, wine & small tastes provided.
This workshop is open to poets and writers of all levels. Positive feedback is encouraged, however we will not be soliciting critical feedback or editing; this workshop will be a safe space to be highly creative in the moment without judgment, (including your inner critic.)
