About this Event
This is the final opportunity to get involved in this exciting project. Poem in Your Heart was established by Rachel Habergham in 2025 to create a book of poetry on leadership through the eyes of women. The workshop provides a safe space in a beautiful venue to explore your creativity, there is absolutely no need for any experience of writing.
You will be supported by Rosie Carnall (creative artist) and Rachel Habergham as we use a range of materials to explore what leadership means to you through poetry. We hope that you will want your poem to published in a book later in 2026.
The date of the workshop has been picked to enable us also to recognise the significance of International; Womens Day (IWD) . The theme of IWD 2026 is Give to Gain, this supports our approach to the book with all profits going to an inspirational local charity. (Mums in Need)
While the workshop doesn't start till 1.30pm, tea, coffee and cake will be available from 1pm. If you want to come before 1pm and enjoy lunch in the cafe on site, there will be people around from 12pm so its also a great opportunity for networking.
The workshop is taking place in Low Drawing Room on the ground floor so you won't need to pay for access to the building.
