Pocket Pick: friss, kísérletező elektronikus jazz a Menny-ben.* 🪽🇭🇺
A Pocket Pick Szabó Gergő jazz zongorista 2025 februárjában indított elektronikus jazz projektje. A zene instrumentális, esztétikája kiemelkedően a fúziós jazzből, a jungle/drum and bass és hip-hop műfajokból formálódik folyamatosan, de a kommunikáció mechanikája meghatározóan a szó szorosan vett értelmében jazz nyelvezet, mely lehetőséget ad a zenészeknek az improvizatív, spontán beszélgetésre a darabokon belül. A zenekar tagjai a Liszt Ferenc Zeneművészeti Egyetemen jazz tanszakán diplomáztak. A zenekar kizárólag saját kompozíciókat játszik.

Pocket Pick is an electronic jazz project started in february 2025 by jazz pianist Gergő Szabó. The band plays their own music, which is heavily inspired by the electronic music genres born in the different decades since the ’70s, such as fusion jazz, jungle and drum n bass, hip-hop and so on. The communication between the musicians is rooted in mainstream jazz from the 50s and 60s, with long improvised solos and spontaneous interactions. All members of the group graduated from the jazz department of the Franz Liszt University of Music.
