Holi is a Hindu spring festival that signifies the end of winter, the arrival of spring, the victory of good over evil, fertility, color, love, laughter, forgetting and forgiving. Holi means “burning” in Hindi. Holi is a two-day festival – Holika Dahan and Holi with colors.Holi is a time when friends, families, and communities come together to celebrate the victory of the dissolution of bad spirits, burning of bad karma and bad feelings, removing negative thoughts and cleansing our consciousness.
