Come join us for one or more sections of our 140 challenge ! A circular walk covering 140 miles around PL postcodes in Devon and Cornwall in 14 days throughout June. We'll follow national walking trails including the SW Coast Path from Plymouth to Mothecombe, traverse Dartmoor on the Two Moors Way, High Moor Link and Abbotts Way to Lifton, then follow the Tamara Coast to Coast Way returning to Plymouth, Royal William Yard on Sunday June 23rd.

PL Charity Club (PLCC) is a members’ charity club that raises money to support families and young people living in Plymouth and the PL postcode areas. We offer grants of up to £500 to nurture potential, build confidence, or just help make life a little bit easier. www.PLCC.org.uk . Walk Details : Day 1. Mountbatten Hotel to Dolphin Inn, Newton Ferrers
-Distance: 9 miles.
-Approximate time: 5.5 hours of walking
-Path: Well-marked along the South West Coast Path
-Hills: 295 ft elevation
-Difficulty level: Moderate
-Start point: Mountbatten Hotel
-End point: The Dolphin Inn, Newton Ferrers.
The walk starts at Mountbatten Hotel. There is free parking in the car park next to the hotel.
The walk follows the South West Coast Path along via Bovisand, Heybrook Bay and Wembury. The walk ends at the Dolphin Inn, Newton Ferrers which we will access via River Yealm foot ferry. For those that don’t want to cross the river there is the option to finish at Wembury beach car park.
