One of the exceptions is Jackie Kong with her BLOOD DINER (1987), in which two crazy brothers continue their uncle's cannibalistic plans and transform their restaurant into a front for brain fritters and neon-soaked depravity.
Things continue to escalate with the zombie hordes in Mark Goldblatt's DEAD HEAT (1988): an unlikely investigative duo is assigned to a gang of thieves and soon realizes that something is not quite right with these guys... A parkour through exploding corpses and mad butchers begins.
