PLAY's Sunday Ritual ft. Somatic Movement, Live DJ & Creative Writing

Start the year in expression, artistry, and embodied storytelling.

PLAY is where movement meets the creative arts - and at the centre of the experience is The PLAY Method, our signature, beat-driven approach to movement. Blending somatic release, primal patterns, musicality, and free movement, the PLAY Method helps you regulate your nervous system, reconnect with your body, and express what words often can’t hold.

This week is led by two movement voices shaped by creativity:

Mateus Daniel: London-based movement director + choreographer creating work that sits between the cinematic, the theatrical, and the surreal. Mateus will guide a PLAY Method movement journey followed by a Creative Writing workshop — helping you shape last-minute greeting cards that land with intention, emotion, and love.

DJ DAUA (Danielle Adéyínká-Uchè) —International stage manager, creative ops force, and cultural curator. DAUA brings her signature genre-blending, emotion-led sound to the room, leading a live DJ set that lifts the energy, anchors the rhythm, and transforms the session into a collective experience.

You’ll end the ritual with a live creative showcase, honouring the stories your body has carried — and everything you’re ready to honour as you step into 2026.

You’ll close the Ritual by honouring everything this year has shaped in you - individually and collectively.

Throughout the afternoon, you’ll also connect with others in meaningful, easeful ways through our PLAY Cards, designed to spark real conversations and community energy.
