🌎 Statewide Call to Action: Platte River & Beyond Cleanup 🌎Sunday, October 5th, 2025 | Colorado & Beyond
This fall, we’re coming together to protect the waters that connect us all. On Sunday, October 5th, volunteers across Colorado and beyond will unite for a mass cleanup of the Platte River, its tributaries, and local waterways everywhere.
You don’t need to be in Denver to make a difference. Whether it’s a stream, a riverbank, or a neighborhood drainage ditch, your efforts are part of something bigger.

💪 How to Join the Movement
1. Choose Your Spot: Find a river, creek, or greenway near you.
2. Gather Your Crew: Friends, family, coworkers, or community groups.
3. Cleanup Together: Bring bags, gloves, and a big heart.
4. Share the Impact: Post your cleanup photos & results with hashtag #ClearTheCurrent to connect with others across the state.

🌊 Why It Matters
Our rivers connect communities, wildlife, and ecosystems. When we remove trash and debris, we protect clean water, restore habitats, and honor the lifeblood of Colorado.

🎉 Denver Celebration Hub
If you’re near Denver, join the main Platte River Cleanup & Celebration with DJs, live painters, and a potluck feast. For everyone else — celebrate your cleanup your own way: a picnic, music, or just a moment to appreciate your river.

✨ No matter where you are, you are part of the flow. Together, we’ll send ripples of change through every stream and river that feeds into something greater.
